Christmas Day | Jude's First Christmas

I took a whole lot more video of Jude's first Christmas than I did photos. I didn't even realize it at the time. :( Oh well, here are the few pics I got and the video I will cherish for a life time because I can really re-live the moment :)!!

Christmas Eve

Normally on Christmas Eve we spend the day with my family. But, the flu virus was spreading through my moms house and we were afraid for Jude to catch it since he never got his second flu shot.

So this first Christmas Eve we spent at Olive Garden. We missed our family terribly :(

But, got to do what's best for the little guy sometimes.

But, we got to make up for all that lost time by seeing them the Saturday after Christmas and on New Years Day which was so relaxing and fun because we weren't so rushed to get to the next family members house!

Jude's First Christmas Tree!

The weekend after Thanksgiving we took Jude to get his first real Christmas Tree at Old Baker's Christmas Tree Farm!

Next year we will be doing the fake tree thing... We had so much fun going to get our tree but it died shortly after we got it home :( Not sure if it is because of the hot weather we have had all winter or maybe we did something wrong? However, it is still decorated and standing in the play room waiting for christmas day which is tomorrow!! :)
